P.2 Students worked in small groups to draw and label various objects in each of 4 different rooms. Then, each student chose at least one room to write about and present to the class.

P.1 Student-produced books titled "School" in which each group wrote and illustrated a story about the different objects that they see in the classroom every day. Each student was responsible for contributing a page to his or her group's book. Students worked together on the covers and then each group presented their books to the class.
